About Us

We believe that with a little guidance, a little training, a little communication,
a little food, a little vet care,

and a whole lot of love, we can make a real difference in many lives.

Meet the Team

Our Board of Directors and Veterinary Advisor are all life-long animal lovers & advocates.

We Believe...

We Believe in offering help for people who, at the end of their lives, have no place for their beloved pets to go.  We can help if their pets can be cared for by loving family members or neighbors by supplying food, litter, and basic vet care.  Or our
“Volunteer Godparents” can give those pets a safe, healthy "place to be"
until loving homes can be found for them.

We believe in providing pet food to families suffering from unemployment, seniors on fixed incomes, and families that are dealing with chronic illnesses where resources are tight.  We believe that every pet should have food, every day,
and we want to help provide it.

We believe in offering temporary foster care for pets whose humans may need short-term hospital care, providing help with food, litter, basic veterinary care for the pets and peace of mind for the humans.  Many seniors and chronically ill patients will put off necessary health services for lack of a safe haven for their pets.

We believe that senior dogs are special – so we hope our “Seniors for Seniors” program will match senior dogs with senior folks in the community.

We believe in providing temporary care for the pets whose people are staying in our local battered women’s shelter, and returning them to their families as soon as possible.

We believe that reading to animals can help local students feel more comfortable practicing their reading skills, which in turn can improve confidence and
raise test scores for these students.

We believe that with a little assistance, many animals can remain in their current homes instead of being dumped, taken to animal shelters, or euthanized.

We believe that with a little guidance, a little training, a little communication, a little food, a little vet care, and a whole lot of love, we can make a real difference in many lives.

We believe in building bridges.  We believe in the kindness and generosity of spirit of the people in our community. We believe in the power of love.

....in miracles!
